Nundrisha Wakhloo is an independent documentary filmmaker based in New Delhi. In her work she is fond of layering different narratives together expressed through powerful visuals and experimentation. Her work captures reminiscence in spaces and people, referring to her own sense of belongingness to her culture.
She completed a year long fellowship at the Union Docs Collaborative studio 2020, New York. She is the co-director of the New Delhi chapter of Video Consortium, a global platform that unites and supports voices in documentary film and video journalism.
Her films have been on platforms like MUBI and DA films and travelled to various festivals,such as IAWRT, New Delhi, IDSFFK Kerala, Kochi-Muziris Biennale, PÕFF, and the Bangalore International Film Festival among others.
Brair Kani (Cat’s attic) is her recent short film which had its premiere at the International Documentary and Short Film Festival of Kerala.
